MOSFET Kit

A MOSFET is a 'chemical switch' which works a little bit like a relay and allows you to switch high currents. They can be used in flywheel builds to handle the current of the motors but still retain the stock trigger switches. This is especially useful in Demolishers where routing heavy guage wire can be awkward.
 
Although they can be a little complicated to install for beginners, MOSFETs are a cheaper alternative to using high current microswitches. The MOSFET we have chosen is incredibly versatile. Up to 80A continuous drain or a whopping 320A burst. With a low gate threshold of 3-6V, it can easily be triggered by a logic signal from an arduino board so is an excellent choice for brushless builds.
 
The kit includes one 80A MOSFET, one rectifier diode and a 10k resistor.
